"When people ask me would I ever have imagined I would be where I am today? Absolutely," Hightower tells CNBC.
"Because if you don't think that you can be great, you'll never be great. And I knew that I was gonna be great a long, long time ago."

It was more so about the types of people who were known to be in the petroleum industry than the location itself I just assumed he had to deal with a lot of those "good 'ol boys"Where did y'all hear or see Texas in any of this?
Superb story. Great to hear things like this. Dude sitting at 500 million with his Black wife next to him
On another note after reading up on it more this is another reason why recently i started getting interested in petroleum engineering and deciding to get my bachelors in that when i have money saved up. The pay with just a bachelors can be almost six figures. I know that yes this guy worked as a family business but i'm just saying. Because in that position itself especially in Texas i have heard a couple stories of guys working for businesses that sell and workers end up walking away with millions like this guy did.
Man this is motivating me
