Man fukk this dude he so full of shyt. Him & Sinema both need to be primaried after this shyt is resolved. If the Dems don't get anything passed they both need to be challenged by democrats in their own states.

Sinema, yes. But Manchin is basically trolling because he knows any potential primary challenger has no chance against him. He's already admitted that he knows he's unlikely to get primaried by another Dem unless they're even further to the right than he is. Even if he did get primaried by some miracle, Manchin is 74, and would be 78 when his term is up. It's highly likely this will be his last term in the Senate, no matter what happens to that seat when he's gone.

Imagine trying to create roughly 8 million jobs, offer free community college/trade school attendance to prepare people for those jobs, keep child poverty down, a dedicated amount of paid time off to handle family business, address climate change, and offer additional medical benefits to our aging population that wouldn't cost most people in this country a dime - just an increase on a small percentage of individuals who have been getting over for years. Imagine people being against that...its beyond weird.

It's easy to imagine people who watch FOX News all day believing that. They see literally any sort of government program as a free handout to black people :yeshrug: this is nothing new

No different than them being against welfare because of "welfare queens" in the 80s or "Obamacare" in the 2010s. Same shyt, different decade.

Soooo how will paid leave effect states with paid leave laws?

Also, I know the tag line keeps saying nobody under $400,000 will see their taxes go up but......special interests and Washington bullshyt tells me otherwise.

I just have an uneasy feeling about getting taxed for some of this.

The one thing they should cut is paid leave because the way Richard Neal designed it in the House package is an absolute cluster

I'm starting to think that guy is not that bright at all. Specially since all of the three would benefit his welfare state. Who needs an opposing political party when you have corporate politicians like Manchin and KS.:francis:

anybody that thinks and/or acts like a republikkkan is probably an idiot...even if manchin and sinema aint morons they still wouldnt be smarter than the 40 other senators put together...

theres nothing wrong with saying "i want to run up massive debt to pay for the social programs i want"

so just fukkin say it :dead:what's with this disingenuous bullshyt?

Yes. I want run up my credit card to the max on investments. So those investments will cut my bills in half and generate revenue for me for the next 10 years. Which will undoubtedly pay DOWN my credit card debt and still generate a profit for me.

Yes. I want to do that. And I'm happy to say that.

Obama lost seats in Congress because his Secretary of HHS fukked up the Obamacare rollout, IIRC.
The rollout wasn’t great but the messaging around Obamacare(anti-unions, death panels, cost) were already underwater before it came out.

Remember the famous “I like Kentuckycare but not Obamacare” even though they were the same thing?
