You got to give them credit for putting themselves in position to take the opportunities but at the same time it’s a purposefully effort for Indians to be in said position
The American gov/corporations invested money overseas for these folks to get educated and work these tech jobs because according to them it’s cheaper to do that than invest in American citizens, that’s why China Japan Korea India Asia in general is the tech capitals of the world, not shytting on Indians but let’s tell the whole story

For India's long-term future, it's pretty bad.
What India/Indians should be doing is building their own tech-ecosystem, completely under their control. Working for Western companies and making them richer is not a brag. It's a self-defeating exercise.
What the Chinese are doing with respect to technology will ensure that they have products/services/communications technologies that can't be undermined by the West if a conflict breaks out or if America decides to really go after China.
Eventually, India will want to rival the US (like China). But they have no independent technologies outside of mobile banking and some government apps.

Slavery was a long time ago. Nobody is stopping people from going to school or learning a trade to compete

Slavery didn't end until 1865 for some people, not even speaking on the sick shyt that's kept off the books.
Why wouldn't there be residual impact from some like that to this day? Especially considering there was segregation. Wasn't like shyt was fair and equal off the bat.
