It's a trip how when any minority gets harmed in tha US, there is recourse from that persons country, they hold tha US accountable

but when it's a black person from this country tha US duznt have to answer to nobody, so they do as they please...smh

and then CACs complain about protests and marches....but that's tha only recourse tha Amerikkkan black community has
Blacks in America have no outlet. No national backing from anywhere. It's sad, so we are treated like stepchildren in our own home. Take the beatings and misfortunes and have no one care or know about our struggles.

In a perfect world, sure, it'd be "petty" or "irrelevant" to bring up such things..unfortunately, REALITY, especially Black American REALITY, dictates otherwise.

What was said about bringing home a Black person to that Indian household was VERY worth noting, especially if we're going to be turning into :cape: mode..

We must also ask ourselves, PRIOR to :cape: 'ing for another community, if said community ever :cape:'s for us when it's us being brutalized and murdered by the police.

Expressing sympathy for an innocent, including someone who isn't Black on an online message board like this is not caping. It's basic human decency. No one is out there marching or spending money campaigning for him. Once you see every individual as a member of a community first and not a human being first, before you know them or their ways, you've already lost sight of what motivates anti-racist ideas and submit to the crabs-in-a-barrel mentality that every great Black leader warned against. Giving up petty tribalist ideas is not the same as c00ning. Anyone who thinks it is is a deeper victim of racism than they realize.

Alot of these militants have been crippled by racism. They have adopted a victims mentality where every non black person has deep seated hatred of black people and anyone who expresses any basic human empathy for a non-black is labeled a c00n.

fukked up way to live.

I don't know if this was posted in this thread, but the 911 caller who reported it said "He saw a very skinny black man walking around the neighborhood, never seen him before two weeks". The 911 caller was also like " I am leaving for work and am afraid of leaving my wife (white?) alone in the house". (:comeon:)

But to answer your question, police brutality and terrible police procedures affects all communities.

You are working at both extremes here. Yes some people are crazy with the "essau evil......" Talk. But here your at the total opposite end by claiming that everyone who may see race in this case has a "victims mentality".

Reality is somewhere in the middle. Race did play a big role in this case and considering the current racial tensions in America over the issue of police brutality its not unreasonable that some people would talk about race. :manny:

I think the problem is that cops think of force as a way of getting "cooperation"

They make some bullsh1t excuse like "he was resisting" or "his hands were in his pockets" or whatever but they really just attack people to get better cooperation from someone who's in pain

Only in this case it turned out the elderly man wasn't non-cooperative, he just couldn't understand them at all
