maybe its not reported as much but there are tons of health and deform related issues over there but india and Indonesia/java has plenty of coverage , also south america has a fair share.

No where I have even suggested that there was a pissing match between the poverty levels of Africa (a whole freakin continent) and India. YOU brought that up, showing YOUR insecurities in defending India, simply because I have demanded proof that these bizarre medical deformaties happened EVERYWHERE including Africa. I have never seen like dead babies in a woman's womb for 30 years, or a kid with 300 teeth, or two headed babies, or ginormous hands happen to African kids.
And after viewing that chinesesmack link, the most poorest countries in Africa is more sanitized then what I seen from them pictures. I mean, how they are living is just freaking repulsive.
Then they like to rag on Africa and Africans living in poverty and shytholes, but at least they are freaking sanitized!
First of all, Africa is a continent. India is one country, so comparing a country to a continent doesn't really make sense. Second, there are places in Africa where these things happen, too, you just don't hear about them because the media doesn't really give a shyt about most of Africa.
There are several reasons. One is inbreeding. Muslims generally do this at high rates (marry cousins, specifically, and sometimes uncles and nieces) so that contributes to an increase in negative mutations/deformities, and so you'll find that areas in Africa that are more Muslim and/or allow polygamy have more of these problems because people tend to inbreed more. There are also cultural differences between ethnicities. Yoruba people engage in a lot of incestuous marriage, whereas Igbo do not and prohibit it within their communities.
The second, in India specifically, is the caste system, which also encourages people to reproduce within a small gene pool. Most people are broke and don't leave their communities, and so end up with a very small gene pool.
Finally, there's toxic pollution that increases mutations.
