Incline vs Decline vs Traditional bench press?

Incline> flat > decline
Decline gonna give you too much lower chest work. I'd rather do weighted dips than decline but then again I never do it so I can't speak on it too much. But from what I've seen incline and flat will give you the best results.

Back in the day I was never a fan of decline. Didn't like the shape it gave my chest.

I would just do some decline cable fly just to strengthen and shape.

Incline and straight is a must.

The Decline bench press acttally activates more of your pectoral fibers than the incline or flat bench. It even recruits your lats so you got some major muscle groups putting in work (hence it being the stronger lift)

That said I never do it because that shyt is awkward as hail :mjlol:

I dont flat bench anymore, I rather do weighted dips, pushups or hammer incline to get the middle part of chest

From personal experience, dont do decline, slight flat work, and incline should be the primary work.

Been in the game going on 8 years and im paying for my mistakes from back when i started:snoop:

Make sure your grip is wide enough also so that you are actually working your chest and not having the triceps do all the work

All 3. I do dumbbell presses usually and only do bench when I'm 5x5ing. But all 3 variations for sure. Throw in some push-ups and some machine flies (or some other variation) and you are good to go.
