This last ep was crack, definitely getting to know where this season is headed, though alot of uncertainty, it'll keep us coming back, the show is slowly building up.

And there were definitely weeks if not months between Brody walking around with a cane and then running up stairs trying to get back his fitness, thus lil mami picking up on her english

All this whining about people criticizing the show ignores the reality that there has been a steady stream of criticism about Season 3 from other places too.
And a lot of the criticism here is perfectly valid.

I don't mind criticizing these shows.

To be fair, Boardwalk caught a lot of hate last season (and rightfully so) by most of the people posting in that thread. It came back and it's been fire this season so people are giving it props. It's been great 6 episodes in.

Homeland caught flack last season too after it started off amazingly. They wrapped it up nicely but I did start going...
til I saw how they finished it.

Season 3 hasn't been bad for me, I just wasn't feeling the latest episode like others. It's only 3 episodes, so I don't think people are really done with the show just because they may not have enjoyed every episode.

Show went back to the roots of the series with the mental capacities of Brody and Carrie. All the CIA stuff builds offa that.

I considered this the first season of more character-driven episodes the roots of it all. How one man handles an improbable situation and the other woman who drives her self crazy within it. Season 2 brought in all the heavy action Jerry Bruckhimer type stuff but the second half of it was still high quality.

Apparently most of the top creative people involved with making the show have left or, in one case, died, so it's hard to have much confidence in the stragglers to keep the show alive and compelling.

so thats why this show feels forced as fukk nowadays. This episode sucked so bad that with another one like that Im throwing it to the bushes

They should just stick to the CIA black ops, the less Carrie and Brody on screen the better

So is Homeland going the route of many other Showtime shows (having a spark when they started (first two seasons, usually), but ending up garbage)? Showtime is starting to develop a bad reputation.

I used to love coming to these threads to see what the breh's had to say about each weeks episodes.

But all I see in every show thread is b!tching about how every show fell off and is not as good as 'BB'

I mean EVERY SHOW THREAD for the new season, I don't even think I'm going to set foot in the Walking Dead thread any more, you'd think no one was a fan of the show over there. This one is about the same.

My advice is to just watch what you like and avoid the opinions of wannabe critics The Breaking Bad bullshyt is gonna most likely last for the rest of the year I post in the TV show threads for fun and the opinions of a small handful of cats that seem to know what they're talking about.

We got to see how the season wraps up before we could actually see if it's actually heading the Dexter route.

I'm still enjoying the show, but that's probably because I've never thought of it as a black ops/CIA spy show and more of a character study of Carrie and Brody and how their decisions in the past as well as the ones they currently make affect those around them. I will say the show went more 24 in the second half of last season which I don't think is the best direction for what the show was meant to be IMO. I love 24 though so it's also not the worst direction they could take it. I do think the season has started off slow and they have to stop using Carrie's bipolar against her every chance they get as well as find a way to get Brody's storyline more involved into the main plot.

I hope we get something big to happen by the middle of the season like them catching Brody last year to light a spark under this one.

Im not really feeling the season so far....Im not gonna say its flat out trash. Its still a good watch and Im gonna keep watching but if the first season started at this level of quality it wouldve been just another average show. Theres been a big drop in quality from S1 till now thats undeniable
