Did they also tell you how :trash: it was?
I havent watched it yet but naw none of them said anything bad about the episode

It wouldn't surprise me if it was bad tho, these writers dont seem to know what they want to do

It can't possibly be worse then Danas or the Saul/Carrie storyline

I'll check back in with my opinion in a couple hours after I watch it

That shyt last night with Brody was even worse than the shyt we have been getting with Dana.
Brody should have died last season and we should be completely done with him and his family.
At least next week's episode looks to be getting back to the CIA stuff which is the only thing that is interesting about this show.
Exactly.

The stuff with Brody's family wasn't even bad to me. Sure they could have cut some of it out, but honestly, with how Season 2 ended and how Brody came clean to Dana... they had to show how what happened impacted his family. I know that's 1 thing I was thinking during the scene last season when they entire family was watching the news and Brody's suicide tape was shown.

:wow:

For people to think that they weren't going to show how that effected his family this season is a bit naive right? I understand the complaints, but with how the story is now, it's as if they'll have to force Brody's storyline into the fold. All they had to do was chill on the family scenes and do more with Saul and Quinn going after the new guy.

But if this season is going to be about Brody escaping from Caracas () and Carrie's road to redemption out of the crazy house then it's going to be a struggle to get through it.

The episode was so bad even @obarth didn't bother to comment on it.

Next week's episode does look interesting though. Looks like Carrie is going to betray the CIA. fukk the government!

I was one of the people that was cool with Brody not dying season 1, but now thinking it would've been best.

Even after last season I supported Brody having a minimal, if any, role at all, and his family to not appear at all. If this season focused on the aftermath of the bombings, the CIA's regrouping, in particular the conflicting philosophies of Saul and his boy, the investigation of the CIA's knowledge of Brody and a new threat, that would've been great.

Now it just seems like, without using the source material, the writers from 24 are struggling.

:what:

This was the worst episode of the season and possibly the series.

Just because some guns went off doesn't mean it was good
:beli:

oh so you prefer 35 min of dana's love life?

more visits to danas psychiatrist and extra focus on the brody bathroom and worried looks everytime she bathes?

It's about context fam.

Do you recall how the last season ended? With Brody lying to everybody, and then finally coming clean to his daughter with him to go on and blow up the CIA and 300 people. (allegedly of course) Then on top of that, the tape plays to further ether his family and their current living situation. Seeing the aftermath of that on his family was something a lot of people wanted to see, or thought about. Following Brody around when he's on the run would be dumb as fukk (last night's episode is a prime example).

You can't just bring Brody's ass back in every single episode after that shyt. It's just not plausible or important to the big picture of the story anymore. The focus is now on who set all that shyt up. It's partly the writers fault for this.

Unlike the majority, I feel like this season has been pretty good so far, and last night's episode was the weakest one yet.

There is far more entertainment in the shyt Quinn is about than seeing Brody not be able to do shyt with his current situation. I mean, what the hell is he going to do with the price on his head besides live in a hole somewhere avoiding being noticed?

to me it seemed like the end of brodys road.. maybe we dont see him again? idk..but i too would like for them to get past him and have a different threat each year 24 style..but for me it was fun to see him one last time(though probably not the last being that this is showtime but you get my drift)
