They're overbuilding these luxury condos everywhere
These developers in Charlotte are tone-deaf also, especially Southend near uptown

It's only going get worse because this exacerbates gentrification and the general misplacement of prior renters and tenants, while continuing to never address the underlying issues associated with poverty, stagnant working wages, mental health and affordable housing.I been saying Miami economy will be destroyed all by the greed of those Cubans and those Russians. They would buy properties at a higher price to boost values of a certain neighborhood. Some people come in and get scammed and have no idea how the scam works. Miami is a crappy city now with all the crimes and tolls and all this traffic. Nobody wanna be around that.
Pretty sure this is playing out in every major city in the US.
The same shyt is occurring in the Los Angeles, where condos and apartments that go for 3.5-4k month minimum.
Now here's the real kicker, the reason why it's a long term investment is because by 2050, 70% of the world's population is projected to live in Big Cities.....
So if these people can afford to maintain the properties for another 20-30 years it'll be profitable as fukk by then.
68% of the world population projected to live in urban areas by 2050, says UN | UN DESA | United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs
There's plenty of sprawl in Miami/SoFla, but it's high density sprawl. Any space in the city of Miami is from empty lots of torn down buildings/homes etc. The outskirts of Dade County like Opa Locka and Miami Gardens have a little bit of space breathing room. Shame, Miami had some nice older American Foursquare, Spanish Revival, and Bungalow style homes in some of these neighborhoods they tore down. For real?
This is one of those things I would never have guessed
Whenever I visit Miami it feels so sprawled out
But I guess that is how being a tourist as opposed to being a local can give you the wrong impression
Remote work on a collective scale for a significant portion of Americans?that is a grim fukking trend
Brehs gotta find some remote work opportunities from lower cost areas

@Originalman already pointed out the biggest hindrance to economy isn't automation but rather outsourcing to save money on wages. You think companies and corporations are really trying pay people to live a decent life somewhere in even a rural areas, when they can just pay someone in India $9 an hour
I'll never forget that IG live Cam did from Miami. He kept screaming "Yo that bridge... do not go over that bridge B"Never got the MIA hype. One block off of South Beach looks like a war zone.

Wynwood is good if you like the bar scene. Lots of bars/restaurants/lounges on that 2nd Ave strip. If you’re looking for nightclubs though, wynwood isn’t the spot for that. I’m 33 so the bar scene is what I’m into now. I haven’t been to a legit nightclub (LIV, STORY, etc) in a while.I need to start doing this during the Chicago winters. i was born when Mike was drafted. Im good on a club, but a bar or lounge is cool. I still look young, so i can lean on someone's car outside the club whilst sipping a lil sauce, I'll parking lot P.
