We are all passionate fans. It's hard to win NBA games. Even more, it's hard to win NBA games when you don't take each possession seriously on either end of the court. Having Collins back is great because he does. The rookies do too even if they are mistake-prone as a mfer but some of our other guys' like vets and youngins need to take this shyt a lot more seriously. Baiting for fouls, not defending to any degree at all unless you think this possession matters, chasing stats, not boxing out, not moving off the ball, overdribbling, tunnel vision for a big man, not rebounding at all for a big man, constantly out of position on defense, no offensive or defensive communication, being a vet but looking like you rather be home isn't going to win you shyt in this league! I won't blame coaching because I know they teach their ass off and the guys that want to improve outside of Vince due to being old as shyt has improved on a month to month basis.

While Kevin is one of the guys mentioned in this piece above, I do think the knee injuries from the summer have zapped his explosiveness and we can see that he is looking rather pedestrian this season on both ends outside of shooting.

The others gotta get better. I am not liking these bad habits we are starting to develop. Especially when we didn't have them last year.

Only thing I disagree is about Huerter’s shooting. He’s under 40% FG and 36% on 3’s. He’s an avg shooter and doesn’t consistently look for his shot. He hasn’t improved in any tangible way

But I really agree with you about the culture part and the bad habits. That’s another reason I didn’t believe the playoff hype b/c we don’t have a winning culture or a culture of accountability to demand a certain standard of play. Guys do what they want out there with little to no repercussions, Coach isn’t holding guys accountable, shyt is a mess both on and off the court

I got a feeling the Hawks make a major trade soon. Just not sure for who. I think they place a value on the number 1 pick next year but adding more young players isn't going to help this team much. Time to add vets that can play or you fukk around and turn into the Phoenix Suns.

I honestly don’t want a trade for a star. Like you said I want trades for professional vets who know how to be pros, play defense, play physical, play unselfish etc. Guys with experience but can still play. We’ve got to get a good mix of vets to help these young guy learn how to prepare on a regular basis
