i agree that Trae shouldn’t be one of the 44, however how it was worded by Pierce (which led to Pierce having to clarify his comments) is what has people on social media (including Trae and his Dad) talking about it

Sexton and Garland have had easy trips all night and it's lead to easy buckets for the Cavs the whole night

The Cavs have had whoever Trae guards set screens just to get Trae isolated on the perimeter numerous times. He's an easy target


There's not an abundance of offensive talent on the Cavs and they're making it look easy
