Don't look now but a win and we are 6.5 games out of the 8th seed. A win tonight and a win against Cleveland and we are 5.5-6.5 games out of the 8th seed. We did this in 2008. Made a trade for Mike Bibby where we had the worst starting PG's in the NBA and made the playoffs. We just added Dedmon back and in one game, look like a different team. We are executing again, nikkas not out of position all game long and Trae ball all game long. All of our exotic sets were back like it never left.

We don't even have Capela who's a top 10 center or Skal who's a good rotation player back yet and we have the easiest schedule in the NBA in the 2nd half of the season. Let's go! We need this playoff run. This will get us right, give the youngins some experience, rock the farm and maybe Trae will make All NBA as well. I would like to see Hunter or Cam be All-Rookie team as well.

Good dub and great game by Dedmond, was like he never left. SMH, one can only imagine if he was here the entire year.

I been saying this, breh is worth 10 wins. He's like DMC for us when Bud was here. He just impacts so much we do. Without him, our offense look like poo. With him, all of the sets are back. I see the execution. I see nikkas in the right position to make plays. shyt looks like we just aren't Trae Ballin our way to wins. Like we are a real team again.

I think everyone on here except for you said they could make the playoffs this season. Personally I think if Collins didnt get suspended they would be a game or 2 out of the 8th seed at this point

I would say that the team is young and doesn't need that type of pressure but they're putting it on themselves. Everybody on the squad has a legitimate chip on their shoulder and something to prove. We look like we did last night and replace trash ass Graham/Jones with a healthy Reddish/Capela and the 2nd half will be a ride

The East is either trash or young outside of the top 6 teams, lol. There's going to be a team like 7-10 games under .500 make the playoffs. But even with that, the Hawks have a uphill climb and no room for error. They'd have to go something like 23-5 over the last stretch to have a realistic shot. Trae would basically have to avg 35-10 on high percentages, and EVERYBODY would need to stay healthy with the rookies talking a leap forward. That might be a lot to ask.

All the starters were minuses with Collins leading the way at -32. But I’ll chalk that up to coming off a back to back
