In my observatory
this show was the GOAT
I think it was Fox trying to fukk the Wayans out of money. Basically were trying to stop them from going into syndication at the time so they were playing repeats instead of letting them have new episodes during the fourth season when it actually aired. I think all the Wayan's officially dipped after that season.
"Why do you say 'we' caucasoid?"
I actually just watched that one before I made this thread.
I had to replay it 3 times just to appreciate the genius of the detail.
As a kid I never understood it.
Good point as far as many black shows/movies PUSHED true black pride in the sense. Now the shyt is so fake and bourgeois if it's in black media because they revolve it around "uppity" negroes. 90's incorporated ALL blacks.
This is the shyt I was raised on. In Living Color, Ice Cube True to the Game video, Drop Squad, Spike Lee movies shyt even Carlton from Fresh Prince.
I had white friends but I knew being a "sellout" was the worst thing a black person could be...
I saw an episode with handiman not long ago and that shyt had me The way he used to fall out the window when he went to fly.
the "Black People Awards" one of the funniest sketches
the black people "awarads"
these sambo ass nikkas worshipping that becky @2:10
This show was ridiculously funny on some of their sketches,
The goat was homie, who gave it to you raw no filter
did they edit some of the episodes after the initial runs? i was looking at the arsenio hall episode, and i swear i remember david alan greer yell "that bytch set me up" as hes being drug down the hall
I think you might be thinking of the Marion Berry skit....DAG played him....Keenan played Arsenio
