You claim they're lowering Black political power, yet in Georgia in 2020 Raphael Warnock got elected to the Senate because 80% of Hispanics voted for him over the bullshyt Trumper White candidate. Warnock won by 94,000 votes and exit polls show his edge among Latinos was around 105,000 votes - so if they had just stayed home or voted for the white woman, he would have lost.
So not only is there a Black senator because of the Latino vote, but that's also gave Democrats control of the Senate AND enough congressional seats to get control of the house AND gave Biden the edge in Arizona and Georgia as well as several other states. So without the Latino vote, Trump would still be in power with a whole senate and house backing him.
This report analyzes the choices of Latinos in 2020 Senate elections in five key states and the rate at which they split their ballot with the presidential election.

So every Black CBC member who leads a committee, every Black CBC member who has been able to have input on and put amendments into bills, every pro-black judge Biden has appointed that isn't going to automatically overturn every law with a racial component, everything that has been passed that has benefitted black folk from stimulus to the billions for discriminated against farmers to the student loan forgiveness, ALL of that is possible due to the fact that Latinos predominantly voted for Dems. Without their vote, the conservative White vote would dominate the liberal White + Black vote and Black folk wouldn't have the slightest political power at the federal level at all.
And you could say the same for many states. There are spots here and there where Latinos have overtaken Black areas. But for the most part, Black politicians are MORE likely to get into power due to Latino votes, not less likely, because Black numbers aren't even close to large enough to have control over anything at the state or federal level without getting votes from somewhere else.
