Joe D being apart of the bad boys was the worst thing to happen to y'all, he'll never get fired unless he call it quits, and he's not going to say no millions every year

i think he just made several mistakes back to back, he clearly wants us to win but i'll give him thiss year and next year as a last chance...he's been good on the last two drafts and if drummond is available i believe he'd take him. I had a dream that MKG dropped and we got him, and he'd probably fit well but drummond went after and became a shot blocking/pick n roll defending big

hey yo forreal, Stuckey improved like a mofukka. the Pistons finally let him be a 2 guard, instead of making him a 1. Monroe will continue to get better, and Knight is cool, except his shot is ugly as fukk though lol

After the Charlie v and Ben gordon contracts how can you trust joe dumars? Let's not mention drafting darko

Drafting Greg Monroe, and doing the smart thing by selecting Brandon Knight instead of reaching for some wack ass big man last year.

Plus, the nikka got us a ring. Not alot of GMs can say that.

nikka got lucky that two guys who had top 5 talent fell to him in back to back years. Let's not act like he drafted Tony Parker at the end of the first or anything. Hopefully he can get lucky for third straight year.

He got a ring you can't take that away from him. However he also whiffed in the greatest draft since 96. Who beats the Pistons from 04-09 with Wade, Melo, or Bosh added into the mix? Then he follows it up with bad decision after bad decision. Winning a ring is great. Only winning one ring when you were set up perfectly to win multiple isn't so great.

Big fan of Monroe's game, he's like a poor man's Duncan, which makes him better than about 90% of the big men in the league.

Minus the defense, but I definitely see the resemblance. Dudes got some great footwork and knows how to attack angles, but he's gotta get stronger. He had a solid fg% but would be much more effective around the basket by being able to really power through the contact he gets down there. I think he could be a consistent 20/10 player, and with more weapons on offense even give you 3-4 ast too. Just need that Drummond falling thing to work out so he could have potentially the perfect frontcourt mate.

Good to hear Knight getting stronger too. Main thing is he needs to work on his decision making and consistency. Don't wanna see 25 point games then 2 or 3 straight games of single digits next year. I'm liking the core of youth as long as they can get rid of Gordon and Charlie V somehow in the next year or so.

And unlike a lot of folks I really didn't have a problem with the Iverson trade. I would have rather they moved Sheed at the time because it left Stuckey without a pg mentor and team without the person that held them together. But I recognized the AI trade for what it was. Time to start breaking up the team and AI was a low risk gamble because if it didn't work, he was a rental that freed up a nice chunk of capspace after he was gone. The problem is what Joe did with the capspace. He was stuck on that reload shyt instead of fully committing to rebuilding. It's why we keep ending up with these late lottery picks instead of top 4. Well that and the stupid ass late season win streaks they've been going on.
