The children are American and in being born have already been thrust into American pledgedom. Their reciting their vows is a reflection of this fact with the added benefit of encouraging patriotism, which is essential to national cohesiveness.

But we wouldn't have the same mannerisms in shytting or speaking. We might shyt outside with no fidelity to manner or speak with no attention to syntax. These are nuances.

Anyway, you'll also notice that I said "taking AWAY these influences", we are still influenced by our surroundings. I'm talking about environment and behavior in general. So even if you don't talk about speaking or shytting because of their complexity, what I said about us being brainwashed by the environment is still correct.
