Asian youth are very good at assimilation. They will sellout if that’s what it takes to make it and their culture isn’t going to diss them as hard as other minority groups for selling out.
Overall Asians are more accepted in the business and IT worlds. Many come as refugees.. however, many come with money and family. Many come with tax benefits that natural born "minorities" can’t accsess. Many come with highly valued technical skills and a culture that promotes a good work ethic (not to mention not having to deal with mental effects of amerikkan history and they have the benefit of knowing their roots)

Why would they realize it, when as soon as you land here you see that black people are not the ones running sh1t? IF they can eat off the struggles of black people and not realize it…. Does that stop them from purchasing a brand new Toyota for their daughter? Naw. At most they will see the black purchasing power as a way to come up and earn money.
In the grand scheme of things Asians are low key taking over.

For the most part they aren’t leaders… idk why that is. Even in industries where they are making the money, they aren’t CEO’s. They aren’t in politics too much either. They aren't effecting the overrall culture as much as every other group. They aren’t even a significant voting block; and they aren’t unified on most issues, because unlike some minorities groups here… they don’t Only identify with race but also with the values of the culture/ethnicity they come from.

Look breh. I'm aware of all that. Let's not act like cambodians and filipinos are eating like other Asians, especially south Asians. If you come here as a refugee, you will not do as well as Nisha from a rich family in Mumbai on a student visa. Look at the spelling bee competitions, look who is killing it. There is a reason its not Mexicans. India has a very low literacy rate, so why are they killing everybody in Academics? I just sold my supra last month to an international student from China that goes to school in Cali, he dropped 35k cash without hesitation for my car. No refugee from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, or the Phillipines is doing that.
Filipinos have high household income and they aren't refugees. In the very article in the first page, it says Filipinos have lower rate of poverty than the average American.
Filipinos aren't heavily involved in the professional fields. They are there, but they aren't in the big numbers like East and South Asians. Most filipinos seem to be Skilled Labors in the Trades and medical fields. Blue collar workers. I don't think they are as studious as entrepreneurial as other Asian ethnicities. I've been in jobsites where i'm the only South East Asian, and I'm surrounded by East and South Asians. If I wasn't a competent person, i don't think they would respect me at all just because i belong to a "lower" race.
As for ethnicity and income. Honestly, it's pretty consistent with each ethnicity's home country. When it's not I think there is selection. For example, Koreans do well, and Korea does well. Taiwanese do well, and Taiwan does well. Chinese do well, and so does Hong Kong and China.
The same is true for south east asians. Laos, cambodia and Thailand does poorly, and lao, Khmer and Tai Americans do poorly.. Well thai's are a little better.
When there is selection, the immigrant population does better than the host country. Filipinos, South Asians, Malaysians and Indoensians are well-off in America but their countries (well Malaysia and Indonesia aren't so bad) are not doing well at all.
Me personally, I've noticed that the northern Indians and pakitanis (light skinned central asian looking) aren't as smart as the Southern Aboriginal-looking Dark Indians. Maybe there is some population difference India that contributes to it's poor performance.
don't apply your unscientific bullsh1t to the subcontinent. why the motherfukking hell does your first thought go to skin color and not education and social systems across a billion people, the self selecting nature of immigrant populations, the ambiguous meaning of 'smart', hell don't even tell me.

Can go to Asia right now, and see cats working for $5 per day, 5-6 generations deep. Nikkaz act like these asians don't get pay docked when they don't hit quota, like they don't have to sell of their children to sexual slavery in order to survive sometimes, like when someone complains, one of them doesn't get killed as an example to the others who wish to protest and change their lives. Arguably, for a lot of slave owners, they made more sharecropping than they did having slaves 
Yes, coming over on a boat was rough, but the same thing is happening to Asians and Eastern Europeans RIGHT NOW! I'm not trying to devalue the suffering that my ancestors have faced. I am saying at times, we use it as a crutch too much. We blame our adverse conditions, instead of continuing to fight. We've REGRESSED in many ways since the days of Malcom and Martin and Huey. We need more Obamas, more people who are black, but that's it. <<<<< that's the key to breaking the mental shackles a lot of us have.

Dude, give it up. I took Asian American studies classes and studied a lot of history in college. Stop comparing forced slavery to being a voluntary low paid worker. You are not helping free anybody from a "slave" mentality. Anybody that believes your posts becomes as ignorant as a slave. You are the person who needs to free their mind by calling a spade a spade.Knowing the plight of my people around the world is what keeps me grinding everyday. You are the one devaluing what we have been through.
I have two masters degrees, a full-time career and a small business. I own a home and two vehicles. No kids and all this done before reaching 30.
