In 2018, half of U.S. colleges saw a majority of new graduates earn less than $28,000 a year.

Everyone should be able to learn a trade in high school so they can get a decent job right away. Then if they want to go to college they can and will have the means to pay for some if not all of it

Who cares about how much money you make when you have credit :smugdraper:

Pay the minimums while underpaid, claim hardship deferment, and stunt on social media like you're getting the fukking bag :smugdraper:
At least you got to go to college and play some sports as a walk on, maybe joined a frat, and fukked some hoes :smugdraper:
Made some friends :smugdraper:
Totally worth going upside down with no future upside :smugdraper:
Plus loan forgiveness is gonna come soon once this bubble finally bursts. They'll take care of the loans because the economic system cannot collapse :smugdraper:

:mjlol:

Breh they only will transfer the debt.

Engineer lane is flooded with people and the type of jobs hiring are not in the cities like for petroleum and the young brehs don't want to relocate.

You either keep up with your chosen industry or you take another path or you can starve.Plus certain fields like petroleum are not as lucrative now.People are not actually doing enough research about their chosen fields.

Well, I always said that Free Public College is necessary.....or else French Revolution 3.0 will pop off.

And yeah, a lot of STEM majors are getting low-balled in the job market.

No they aren't. Post sources.

You have to be a fool to automatically think that having a stem degree will automatically land you a six figure job. When it comes to engineering degrees you have so many specialist fields that are not always in demand to receive good pay.You have electrical, civil, petroleum and the list goes on.The majority of entry level position are not going to pay you a six figure salary. Senior pay at a top company = six figures but you need 5 or more years of experience
Plus you have other factors such as a lack of demand, nepotism, economic probability and patterns that leads to employment cutbacks. And average to below average schools that are not good at producing good graduates who lack the work experience and who lack the ability to network.Plus how many american graduates are willing to relocate to another country to improve job their prospects?
When you look at the pattern and see the subjects we should not be surprised. Liberal arts, social science, psychology, biology and the list goes on.Such fields have the highest rate of unemployment and underemployment.

Of course you not gone land a six figure job as soon as you graduate:dahell: Who says you need 6 figures to live good anyway. Anybody that's not in the STEM field need to keep quiet

People been going to STEM and still getting underpaid. How many engineers that are 22-24 making 6 figures outta school?

The "Free Market" is flawed and people will soon behead and massacre their employers.

Engineer graduates never made $100,000 as a starting salary regardless of the era:mindblown: Y'all out here really thinking 22 years start out at $100,000, I would've stayed in engineering if that's the case

Where The Grass Is Blue
How easy is it to get these certs y’all speaking of :patrice:. Somebody in my household need to make 100k a year.
Depending on the certification you’re looking for some can be obtained fairly easy

As far as the ones that will help you make good money you would have to ask one of the 6 certs guys about that

Hell
:huhldup: $28k a year? :huhldup::huhldup:

I believe it, I know many IT guys who earn less than 40k a year here in Florida.

I'm willing to bet wages are getting lowered all over the US and since most young people really live in a handful of states, I think employers set up shop there and lowball them.
