I don’t even know how to explain. It’s like they just straight up quit after they went up 28

Talent wise this team can beat anyone in a 7 game series but mentally I just don’t know man. It’s too many embarrassing games like this for me to pretend like it’s no big deal.

Ime Udoka really ain’t walking through that door

Also I think we need to bring White back into the starting lineup and move Rob to the bench

Grant needs to be out of the rotation as well. Him & Pritchard are so worried about their next contracts, they should be trying to be stars in the roles they have now. All that shyt will take care of itself when you win

Ime Udoka was the perfect fit. He was able to harness all of this talent and make them into a unified team with an identity

I think we run into the same issue with Mazzulla as Stevens. Good at the X’s and O’s but these dudes need a leader of men that’s gonna fire them up and stay on their ass when they get complacent.

:mjlol: Seeing the recent KG/Pierce video with them talking to Brad and Mazzulla at the C's facility, all I could think was neither one of those dorks could have coached the '08 team. Dudes seemed timid as hell as if they were desperately seeking validation from KG/Pierce. Absolutely no way they could galvanize a group of alpha veterans. Just command zero respect from grown men. Good for younger teams and college kids though :yeshrug:

Paul, KG, Perk, and Eddie House would have eaten Brad and Mazzulla alive :francis::mjlol:

Man remember when KG made Baby cry? :mjlol: He'd have little Brad Stevens ballin his eyes out. Brad would be looking like

listening to KG hype himself up with all those curse words flying.

Tatum has been saying in interviews all year that now he "knows what it takes" to win the championship.

I seen too many games like this where the team blows big leads or just plays down right stupid. Team still hasn't figured it out.

I could just imagine Brad Stevens if he was coaching in 2008, and the team had a film session. KG would yell at him and threaten his life. Brad would run back to his office like

Joe Mazzulla is dumb as shyt. He actively discouraged the team from getting paint points and not shooting enough threes. Then they lose taking 60 threes anyway lol. Dude calls no timeouts, then wonders why they wasted 10 seconds on the final play because the players were confused on what to run. This is all time bad stuff from him right now

Not even gonna lie but it's been a while since this team has looked like a contender. Probably that game on Super Bowl Sunday against Memphis which was nearly a month ago

Post-ASB especially this team has looked rough. Needed OT to barely scrape by Indiana, had to win at the last second against Philly, got ran off the court in MSG, blew a 28 point lead to Brooklyn, were up big on the Cavs late in the 4th and let them back in the game, now another loss to New York where Immanuel Quickley was the best player on the floor

Obviously when this team is clicking they can beat anyone but it's concerning

It may not be the #1 problem, but I'm seeing that the Celtics are probably the worst team when it comes to transition defense. Seems like the book is out on how to beat the Celtics, just out run them. The past 15-20 games, Its crazy how even the slowest paced teams can just play faster and get such easy buckets. Knicks literally had 1 man fast breaks and Celtics just looked helpless either getting blown by or fouling stupidly. That's the reason why young teams like the Pacers or Magic give this team so much problems. Its shocking how Joe Mazzulla has not even addressed this. It's like he thinks defense is an afterthought

He's a rookie HC. It will take time.
