Jaylen was outstanding. His shot looks more compact and with less movement in it. He had the ball on a string and his handle was a lot quicker. I liked that he took that technical free throw. He should be taking all techs in the preseason to work on his free throw shooting.
There was one time where Al was taking the ball out and he had Jaylen and Jayson right there, wide open. Who did he pass it to? Jayson. That needs to stop. Jaylen needs to be getting the ball more. He needs to work on his handle. Still too much deferring to Tatum. Gotta get outta that habit.
Speaking of Tatum, he fumbled the ball twice and lost it while also getting stripped once. He needs to get stronger with the ball and I didn't see that today.
White's shot looked much better. Straight up and down. Nice and compact. No unnecessary movement. Just nice releases. That was good to see.
Kabengele would have made Tommy proud. He was out there shielding guys on dribble hand offs, immediately rolling to the basket and then blocking defenders out. He was boxing out out there.
He hit a 3 with the utmost confidence.
He had a really nice play where Grant had the ball and he did a wide roll to the basket so he could get away from the defender and let him and Grant's man both suck in on the penetration, which allowed for the alley oop dunk. Really impressed with him in the summer league and today.
