I was in the building for tonights game. No I’m not a Celtics fan but live in Boston. Brogdon and white are nice in person, Blake is done and if he has to play more than 15 a game in the offs y’all are fukked. Tatums points come so easy it’s crazy. Smart is better up close on defense you miss some subtle stuff with him. Kornet isnt horrible but he also can’t play in certain matchups. I think you guys or the Bucks win it all I’m just hoping that my Cavs can play y’all so I can go to a playoff game. It was so damn loud when we played y’all earlier in the season.

You guys have a great core that I hope stays together breh :salute:

Diehard C’s fan, but I still like the Bucks, Cavs, Grizz and Pelicans.

I'm never one to say that it's bush league when a guy takes a shot at the end of the game when his team is up big. But tonight was different. Jayson Tatum was absolutely bush league out there in the fourth quarter. Out there up by 19 with 4 minutes to go. Trying to get 40 points and a triple double.

It was pathetic how he was flying around to grab rebounds and willingly welcoming double teams so he could unload a pass to get an assist and then trying to drive to the basket to get to the line to get his 40. I was glad Detroit stripped him on that last one. Aside from a Marcus smart flop, this is one of the only times I've been embarrassed as a Celtic fan in recent memory. :snoop:

It’s basketball breh. Gotta play hard when you’re out there. No secret that when players about to hit certain numbers 40 or 50 they try to get that last one basket, coach and teammates know it and that goes for every single player. Jordan did it, Shaq, Iverson did it, LeBron does it, Kobe did it.

He scored 24 points in the 3rd quarter, in the 4th quarter the “stat padding” quarter he played 4:38 minutes 1-2 fg with 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Giving effort now called stat padding?

I knew it was going to happen

udoka really messed up :snoop:

Imma miss Igbo Udoka :mjcry:. Really unlocked Tatum and Browns potential, made them more in sync playing together, and made Smart a true point guard

But Joe Mazzulla is growing on me, their offense has become a well oiled machine under his regime. He's doing pretty well for only half a season of coaching :ehh:

I'ma miss Ime, too. What I appreciate about Joe is how the offense very rarely goes through the 3+ minute scoring droughts that used to be commonplace.

He's gotta work out some of Jaylen's usage. He's using him a little less a spot up shooter, where he's been poor but he's gotta reduce that even more. JB's also been bad from the corners. More pick and rolls from Jaylen, where he's been very good to offset the poor spot up and catch and shoot shots, unless he can get back to his usual production but it's not looking like it this year. Make the offense even more efficient.

Their defense too, this year their defense is top 5 despite all the injuries.

I agree. Joe needs to make Jaylen a pick and roll player like Jayson is becoming. Just imagine Jayson doing a two man pick and roll with Jaylen, imagine how confused the defense on the opposing team would be. On top of that having Jaylen as a pick and roll threat along with all his offensive talent would make this team invincible and downright scary :blessed: :wow:
