Magic the entire game had 3 bigs on the floor, and what does Mazulla do? Keep playing small ball, outside of maybe a 5 min stretch of Timelord and Al
I commend the team for hustling more and playing with more energy. But you can see whenever an opposing team runs them off the free throw line, they get so discombobulated and commit turnover after turnover after turnover. They literally had 4 guards on the floor at one time and wondered why the Magic had a thousand 2nd chance points. That small ball 3point gimmicky offense at it again lol

A microcosm of the game was a play when we had a 3 on 1 break, score was close, and White instead of passing it off for a layup decides to kick it out for a 3 when the team couldn't throw the ball in the ocean while standing on the beach.

shyt pisses me off regardless of which team it is. Even in terms of analytics, an open layup is always the higher percentage shot. Three man weaves are drills you do in 3rd grade AAU, unless the defender makes a miraculous play you should get an open layup

yall gettn carried away.. yes the rebounding has been an issue but far as missing the open shots go... that's a slump that they will get out of.. they were unconcious for 26 games. That was not gonna happen for a full year.
Today i throw out because Tatum was out and Brown shot terribly. Brown usually shoots way better than that when Tatum's out.

IMO is not just making/missing shots, its the offensive gameplan. To have a 3 point dominant offense, no one on this team are pure shooters outside of Hauser and Pritchard.
This team has a size advantage at the PG, SG, and SF spots. They should be using that to drive to the paint consistently and post up more
Good thing Ime ain’t get fired yet. Mazzulla hit a wall like Sam Hauser.
