Like I been saying since the beginning of the year, that Small ball shyt is a gimmick. 2nd and 3rd quarter was completely lazy jacking up 3, jacking up 3, jacking up 3 offense. No offensive plays for driving downhill, no offensive plays for passing out of the post, midrange, etc

Then you have big men on the team, and what do you do with them? Turn them into screen setters and rebounding whenever they miss a 3. Absolutely no post presence. Every single loss from this season was either the opposing team rushing them off of the 3 point line causing misses or the opposing team's big man dominating in the post when they decide to put all the bigs on the bench and put Grant Williams at the 5

Opposing teams are outrebounding the Celtics at alarming rates, opposing teams are scoring so easily waltzing to the basket. Embarrassing

Spoiler alert: The Celtics are a much worse team without their two best big men. Just like every other team in the league would be in this situation.

It’s an 82 game season and right now we’re short-handed on a long and tough road trip, there is no need to start panicking.

Joe Mazzulla combatting Anthony Davis dominance by throwing away the small ball lineup and putting in Luke Kornet, which led to the comeback

Lost to a team that is 1-11 on the road

4 straight games where this team was down 12+ points

8 straight games where the team shot below 40% from 3

This team had to realize that sooner or later opposing teams will figure out their 3 point shooting. Teams are literally chasing the Celtics off the 3 point line, and Celtics are clueless what to do next. Offense completely died

Magic had 4 dudes on the floor who are the size of Power Forwards on the floor, and what does Mazzulla do? Put only 1 big in the game, and for a good stretch had no bigs out there. Magic got what, 25 2nd chance points? Dominated on rebounds?

Lack of creativity on offense is showing. Lack of playing with Bigs in the game and lack of defense is showing. Sooner or later the "Wait till Rob comes back" excuse won't mean anything

Off night after a road trip. The shots are there, they’re just missing wide open shots. Teams go though slumps during the 82 game season, Celtics going through one now. We’ll get them Sunday. Magic made tough shots all night long.

:pachaha:So against a team that is nothing but big guys, bazooka joe says "let's play small". We finally got our bigs healthy and he goes with the Tatum at PF and White at SG. Then he goes with Grant at Center. c'mon. All the bigs come back and still can't box out. Can we get Tom Izzo or one of his old assistants to teach this team how to box out? Can we dig up footage of the 70's Celtics, a team that played small and still lead the league in rebounding, to show our guys how to box out? While they're at it they can learn how to run a basic fast break instead of trying to go 1 on 3 on the break.

On offense this team is D'antoni Rockets status. If the 3's ain't falling, fukk it keep shooting more 3's. No post game to stop the bleeding. No mid range game to get yourself going. Teams just guard the 3 point line and clog the paint.
