Nefflum nigga
Bred from insolence
Or just an over privileged suburban charcoal black ass n1gga with honkey tendencies...
Threadstarter is obviously a young cac....
I'm a young cac because I don't like a song made by a borderline wack group glorifying the first of the month and the fukkery that comes along with it?
If I were a white boy I wouldn't give a fukk about the song or the message it sent because it wouldn't effect me and I probably wouldn't know wtf the song meant.
A bunch of nikkas in here claiming this song a classic strictly off of nostalgia alone and don't want to get off their high horse and admit that this song is some pure monkey shyt and wouldn't be tolerated if a young Atlanta nikka w/golds made it.
Do you know how many songs in the 90's were about killing nikkas, sellin crack to your own people, drinkin malt liquor and pimpin black women but still turned out to be hits?
You sound dumb as fukk cherrypicking one song when damn near that entire generation of music was on some self-genocide shyt...classics are classics nikka, I suggest you stick to Lupe and ATCQ cause sound like a square.

Yeah ur cac...
Just off the strength u think it aint no crackas on welfare, and u said f-ckery
nikkas would crash the servers complainin' about how these new nikkas are destroying black culture by releasing a song celebrating food stamps/welfare checks. But because bone released it in the mid 90's it's a celebrated classic?
Explain this logic to me old heads . That song sounds like a fukkin' Boondocks parody.shyt ain't even that good to begin with.More c00nish than anything Gucci did.
I dont see how YOU dont understand the impact this song had on US
There's actually valid points bein made on both sides. If a Future type cat came out with this song today, the blogs and everybody else wouldn't be able to shyt talk him down fast enough. But there is something to be said for how material is executed. The vibe from the beat and the song in general is more day in the life as opposed to glorifying not having shyt.
Folks been broke for a long time and records are going to be made about it. Some are gonna come across as contrived and as pandering. Others are gonna make you think about what you did and how you could've been better similar to a "buck that bought a bottle could've struck the lotto" type vibe. (Even if the lottery is complete shyt)
So if a generic southern cat dropped this record today he would probably be public enemy #1, but it would be because he wouldn't have the skill to come across genuine nor the ability to write the song without bragging.
Valid points, don't see what being geniune/braggadocios would have to do with it though.
I doubt people would be like "this shyt would be cool if he weren't talking about his swag"
