Kwame could have been a solid contributor.
He's another good example of why attitude and work ethic does matter.
Dude could have been a Big Z/Joe Smith 16 and 8 type guy had he given a shyt, but he wasnt drafted into a good situation and MJ shyted on him and stunted what could have been a decent career.
Should have never been a number 1 pick even in that trash draft, but he wasnt Anthony Bennett level trash either.

It's well known Kobe and MJ spoke often. I would have loved to been a fly on the wall during those convos about Kwame.
I used to be on some HYON shyt with this but looking back on it with hindsight as a 30 plus year old man, having Jordan and Doug Collins there literally ruined any shot this young man had lol. Jordan broke him immediately, and Doug Collins just doubled up on whatever Jordan said. If there ever was a need for a good cop in the equation it was there.
