Bradley Beal is a mediocre player who will just be an average 17-19 ppg scorer in the mid to late 80's and 90's. You don't know anything about ball from that era.

I've already stated elsewhere that I'm not that OLD but I'm also not that stupid as well to talk about stuff I'm not so well versed in without doing research. I so happen to have access to 100's of games from that era.

I just uploaded this playoff game from 89 yesterday:

(please sub to the channel btw )

Look at the intensity they play with and compare it to today when you're not even allowed to breath on guys. Look at how clogged the paint is. Look at the hand checking. Its like a different sport.

This regular season game I uploaded :

^^ has more intensity in it than anything I've seen in this era's playoffs in the last 10 years. And this was a REGULAR season game. The refs are barely even blowing for fouls .

Just show some humility on this topic. There are probably other areas of basketball you might know better (especially ones that have to do with you boo thing, Lebron) but i'll school you on all of this.

Its what him and some other posters are doing when they are exposed. Asking for what year you were born? Don't take him serious because he has an agenda, and can't even break down footage correctly.

MJ being defended by a young Kawhi and out of shape Boris Diaw being allowed to shoot and size up one guy on him? If I'm MJ or Kobe, then I love those odds. We have already seen a MJ clone in Kobe bust that Popovich defense many times. Try harder breh. Ya Bron fans stay exposing ya selves. Admit it! Bron's game was just too remedial at the time.

I'm a fan of good basketball. You don't even know me, son. Don't speak out of pocket. The greats will still be great but players like Beal who are killing it today will just be average back then as will some of others since everything about the rules today have been made to let perimeter players thrive.

Breh, you know nothing. Terry fukking Porter was a 17-19ppg scorer in the 1980s early 1990s. You're seriously gonna tell us that Bradley Beal's scoring skillset is no better than TERRY PORTER? Can you name a single offensive scoring skill that Porter did as well as Beal?

Wait, lets make a quick list. From 1984 alone, here are the guys who scored 20+ppg that season:

1 Adrian Dantley 30.6
2 Mark Aguirre 29.5
3 Kiki Vandeweghe 29.4

Maybe you'll like 1991 even better. In the "too tough" 1990s, here are all the guys who Beal is no match for. :troll:

1 Michael Jordan 31.5
2 Karl Malone 29.0

25 Derek Harper 19.7
26 Magic Johnson 19.4

You really want to bet that 5'11" Michael Adams could put up 27ppg in the 1990s with a broke-ass jump shot but Bradley Beal couldn't score more than 17- 19ppg? :mjtf:

they swept Kobe and lost 1 game to KD/westbrook/harden
that team was elite...you have to tip your cap to them

That team had a bunch of wiley vets.Who was the super ultra athletes on that squad?

They had old J Kidd & Shawn Marion....Tyson Chandler was an average athlete.

If there was ever a team you could extrapolate back to the 80's, it has to be the

2011 Mavs.

I exposed you in that other thread breh. You don't know how to break down what defenses are doing. You could not even see the doubles and constant attention the Pistons were throwing at MJ when you posted that 90's vid between the Bulls and Pistons. Those Celtics and Cavs vid you posted on Bron and the Celtics showed the constant disrespect they gave Bron when he was on the perimeter. They only respected his driving ability, and constantly only had one guy on him around the perimeter, and even gave him wide open shots at times. Mike and Kobe would have loved playing against those conditions.
U didn’t expose shyt LeBron eats those doubles like scooby snacks you can’t even guard him like that.

Out Michael own mouth he don’t believe he’d have the same career with zones. :camby:

Shawn Marion aka The Matrix who had 95 dunks that year is not unathletic. 32 isn’t old like that.

Tyson Chandler is one of the most athletic centers of All-Time and started the rim runner/vertical spacer player archetype.

I don’t even care about how these mfs look. It’s just the sheer difference in skill and advancement in someone like Beal compared to these 80’s cats.

You’d have to be blind not to see it. But these old school basketball stans don’t know how to evaluate these types of things.

HE STILL HAS MEDIOCRE FOOTWORK AND POST-GAME

HIS THREE POINT SHOT HAS IMPROVED BUT HIS MIDRANGE AND FREETHROWS IS STILL PRETTY BAD

I definitely agree with this.Bron's barely approaching average in the post..Honestly, his post game's not even worth mentioning.

He's better off the face up & just muscling his way to the basket. When he post up, he does so begrudgingly. He's not comfortable

down there.

But you called those Pistons old that Mike beat, and they were younger at the time. Make up ya mind. You got got exposed again.

Shawn Marion, Tyson chandler and Jason Kidd would feast on the plumbers and electricians playing in the 80s
