Why are both you and the OP trying to downplay the Arab element in Islam?

When fundamental elements of Islam require you to speak in the Arab language and, in 2020s America, requires you to dress like someone who lived on the Arabian peninsula circa 900ad. You're required to do a Hajj pilgrimage to the Saudi Arabian Peninsula for a god that is supposedly everywhere. You have to direct your prayers to the east, again towards Saudi Arabia, or else your prayers may not be heard.

Islam centers Arabs and the Arabian Peninsula when they are not even a footnote in Judaism and Christianity.

If a black american is to leave their "cac religion", it shouldn't be for a religion whose nucleus is centered around Arab identity because let's be clear, Arabs ain't have a collective identity prior to Islam.

you speak English and wear suits that were created by wealthy English men hundreds of years ago. Do you consider yourself an English men? Arabic was the language the Qu'ran was brought forth with and the Arabs were the people Muhammad was first sent to with a universal message. Being Muslim doesn't make someone become an Arab.

Comparing our second generation English society to a religion formed in the desert thousands of years ago isn't the same thing. Unless Islam isn't a religion but a political system?
