People fought for the RIGHT to CHOOSE to vote...and some people feel obligated to execute that choice, or that fight was in vain, in their eyes.

They are not wrong, its how they interpret the fight.
FOUGHT? No. People died. Every opportunity we get if you have African origins, you shouldn't take them for granted because your great grandmother can only dream of how things are for us now. It's BAD but it was fukking the Holocaust in America basically for her and her peers/family.

You should have a problem with it

:comeon:

So if a white person has no track record of racism and has helped Black ppl and their REASON for doing so is they say, "I don't see color...", you still have an issue?

If so, then WHY do you have an issue with such?

We should indeed all judge each other not by the color or skin, but rather by actions/character.

I'm not saying Randy Orton has done anything for Black ppl, but it sounds like you just throw all white ppl in the same boat, whether they're racist or not.

Yes. Because you're blatantly ignoring something about someone to prop yourself and make yourself feel good
It's ignorance and can be dangerous

If I as a black person say, "I don't see color", that's jjust ME saying I try to treat everyone the same.

I can't speak for his own meaning of that phrase, but I can only base it on MY interpretation.

So again, I have a prob with his original comments weeks ago, but these new ones don't bother me.
You don't see that he's on that #ALLLIVESMATTER bullshyt? He made sure to slip that in there.

Can't tell if it's his wife using his Twitter account or not, though. They're both turds.

I guess my question to you is, do you WANT white ppl to see you and the first thing they think of is "black"? Or would you prefer them to see you as a person first and foremost?

Yeah "I don't see color" is pretty problematic. Its just a way to conveniently bury your head in the sand when it comes to racism that black people experience, by stripping us of our identity as black folks, the same identity that is used to discriminate against us.

So yeah Randy is on some bullshyt

Exactly.

HE may not see color, but society always did and our race has always bothered other people that's why Black people have suffered so much all over the world and still do. Racism is what built this country unfortunately. If you ignore racism then you're just as much as the problem as those who continue it.

You can acknowledge a persons race, and see them as a human being as well you know.

I don't want my blackness to be ignored in order to make that person ever feel good about them selves

I'd prefer to be treated equally

I'm not even referring to this though.

Tehse are two different issues IMO. If someone discounts you being black in order to try to make a case that, "race doesn't matter in America, we're all equal....", well that's just foolish because it's not real.

But to me, that's different than someone saying they don't see color in regards to how they treat people.

The point is, I'd prefer race(which leads to stereotypes) to not be the first thing in my mind upon seeing someone.

When I watched Stone Cold Steve Austin back in the day, my first thought was not, "Wow, this bald-headed white red neck is pretty cool"
