It's always been about money for me....when a night at the movies can run you $50 for two people...its time to call it a wrap.
For that price, I can watch netflix/HBOGO/PSN, order a gourmet meal delivered to my door and be right next to the bathroom. When it's all said and done, I will still have change left to do it all over again tomorrow.

Regular admission x 2 is $25 and I spend another $20 for snacks and a drink. Plus gas. Not every one can go 60+ times a year. People have budgets and kids. shyt its almost a luxury to check an Imax film. $35 for 2 people.

The one Movie theatre we have here takes a while to get anything new and the selection is limited (Last Blockbuster release we had was Compton, I think) so whenever I'm in America I hit the movie theatres hard. Pick interesting indie movies at random, buy tickets, go outside, blaze up quickly, toddle my ass back in and enjoy. Never a dull moment.
