I'm Thinking About Getting Dreads, Is it Worth it?

I've had short hair most of my life, wouldn't mind even going to a 1 honestly. But my hair is longer now, and I save money on cuts, I don't even have to get it lined up and it still looks good even though I do anyway.

I like my hair, even had a dream that somebody cut it off and I woke up patting my head like my weave itched

But now it's like well damn, I wonder how I'd look with dreads, I don't mind growing my hair out. But I always think like "Ok, I'mma grow out a fro and then I'll just get it cut short again soon", I'm always referring to my hair being short again, perhaps bc that's what I'm used to and most confident with, even though tuesday night at that Migos concert they was looking at me like a Young Aubrey

Anyway, Dudes with Dreads, what do y'all think? What made you think that "I want to get these" and did you ever have any doubts?

Yeah, maybe 4 times a month. The indoor pool was the only reason I got a health club membership
