I respect both Jordan and Bron. Wade is my favorite player of all time. Jordan and Bron are honestly not in my top 5 favorites that I have ever watched play

I say that to say, let's think about things differently when it comes to these two

Imma ask this and let yall discuss. Because at this point, this discourse is like the Pac vs Biggie one back in the day
:francis:

All these what if scenarios. What if Jordan that. What if Lebron never left Cleveland

I'll ask these multi layered questions:

Imagine, in their exact states since coming into the league. Same physical gifts, mental abilities, and basketball talents.

Imagine if Jordan came into the league on a team like the 2000s Cavs. With a mid coach, a shytty GM, someone like Darius Miles being one of the leaders (that same nikka saying shyt like "we don't even need the 1st overall pick") and the same level of talent on that roster. From the jump.

Let alone after 2008. Imagine.

Put that to the side

Imagine Lebron coming into a situation like Jordan. With a competent but snarky GM that can put together a quality team even though he's a bytch personality wise

Imagine Lebron on a team with a coach like Doug Collins. From the jump. Imagine Lebron having to play on a team like that. With more cohesion than the Cavs ever had before he got drafted

Discuss. Im tryna spark thoughtful discussion. And just leave me out of the childish shyt. Because both Lebron and MJ would laugh and/or look at some of yall in disgust if they knew the shyt yall posted in here. In the name of loyalty to them. Like they know you exist

Oh. My. God.

I think you've solved the Jordan vs. Bron debate definitively by using a completely new and original angle. :ohhh:

We have an NBA Random Thoughts thread breh :comeon:
The discussion that I intended to start is way more relevant than anything in that thread

Because the Lebron MJ threads that take over half the Coliseum's front page is toxic. It stinks up the whole subforum

Yall will probably prove this reality to be true the more the posts get posted in here

Because this debate is one of the only sports thread subjects that go platinum in here
:unimpressed:

Here's the problem, the same mentality would've plagued both players but ESPECIALLY Bron.

Why?

Well, after he would've lost for the 3rd time in a row to the Pistons, he would've skipped town because his teammates wouldn't be good enough yet.

Jordan may only win 1-2 rings in Cleveland but he still would've won on the original team that drafted him.

Bron would not.

Hell, the bulls WERE the CAVS of the 80s before jordan got there. At least Bron didn't have Coke Junkies on his team his rookie year.

This is the type of thoughtful posting we need in here
:mjlit:

But you don't think Bron would've stuck around as long or longer than the time he was in Cleveland?

From 2003-2010. I feel like Bron could've had more reason to say if he was in a different situation
