Tombstone isn't a western is an action/drama set in an old west.

Here's tombstone's imdb page, look what category it's in. Its an Action/biography/drama. They got in 3 categories none of them western because it's not a western.


Now look at unforgiven's page

Unforgiven (1992) - IMDb

it's category is just "western" because it's a motherfukking western nothing else.

This is why the American film industry ain't shyt, they forgot the foundations of storytelling which is what makes a genre.
