Yep, all those super over heels in the midcard.
Only heels getting heat on that roster besides Sexy Seth (sometimes) are Kane (when he speaks) and Big Show. Really think about that. They need Cena in the midcard, desperately.

Agreed. The matches have been fine, but he's gotta chill with the overkill on a random RAW match with no build whatsoever. The only way spamming kickouts works is if people are invested in the match or the match builds to that kind of sequence. He's just doing it to make the match feel "bigger" but that's not the way to do it imo
I'm happy with Cena in the midcard. That's a good spot for him right now.

The idea is nice, but the execution is bad. Long extended matches where Cena goes over as usual with no story line build up does nothing really. Especially when you know he's just gonna beat everyone after a long series of near kick outs.
Then, if not booked properly, the belt will be irrelevant again when he loses it.
Plus he got a new t shirt so he's finna win for a LONG TIME.
No matter what gimmick they attach to it, it's still the same old cena. No matter what he does it will not be exciting. At this point he either turns heel or retires if we're talking about fan entertainment. There's not even any feuds left for him on the current roster. His character is completely drained of any intrigue brehs.
Another idea is if he took time off from wrestling and was just the GM for a while.

I don't even think he'll lose it. I think he'll forfeit the title to make a run at the WWE belt. Either the Authority makes that happen or he'll be on some "It wouldn't be fair to this prestigious championship to be holding it while pursuing the WWE championship and not giving it my fullest attention."
