I'm LEGITIMATELY curious to know what "Obama helping the black community" would look like

While we sit here and make excuses for why dude doesn't do enough for the black community, other groups that he actually takes care of never even have to entertain such worries and are laughing at us. Kats actually sitting up in here caping for the fact that the first black president has watched the black community stay on it's same track while others with his help are leaving us in the dirt. You can't make this up. Notice the Liberal networks will not cover a story about how great the black community is doing under a black president. Who wouldn't want an easy crowd pleaser like that to air? I guess they can't spin it enough to make it fly.

Kats have to understand...nobody is expecting him to hold our hands. That's the route many in here are taking just so they can give him a pass. Free college for all blacks? In the bushes with that. All that would do is make college more expensive than it is right now because the losses would be eaten by the incoming students. Other groups don't have these hassles is my point. They don't have to sit around and make excuses like we do on this thread and in real life. That's what I see that makes me upset. But based on many of the comments here he just doesn't have the time and I should smile and ignore it. Got it.
Why would free college for blacks drive the cost of college up for you? Free is free

"Helping the black community" is not the right wording. He needed to do what was right, and I'm not talking about more handouts.
WTF does that even mean? Do whats right???

All of these points may not all be legitimate to you (and mainly concern black males....all the black feminists go make another #blackpowerisforblackmen hashtag:pacspit:), but it's almost 2AM and I've been trying Healthcare.gov for over a week to get them to submit this application because their system is garbage and I'm mad, so I'm about to go ham:pacspit:
I don't see this as legit criticism
:camby:At the Fair Sentencing Act. I don't care about people who get locked up for hard drugs. What I am concerned about is the average black male who is targeted at a much higher rate than any other race. We get pulled over for little/no reason, have our rights violated more often, stack up jailtime and/or a criminal record over garbage like speeding/expired registration/planted & fabricated evidence. Obama does not want to address the real issues like this concerning our race more than any other.
He HAS spoken about this. WTF are you talking about? Racism is done by racists. I don't see how thats something Obama can just change.

:camby:At Obama not pushing to LEGALIZE marijuana completely like he does for Gay Marriage and illegals. I personally do not smoke marijuana and never will, but I do know it is a trap set up against us. He has no problem with his white brothers in Colorado and Washington State selling the Mary Jane though and making a killing, while blacks get double-digit sentences for doing the same thing.
Obama supports legaliztion...but again, this is a states rights issue because you can't just force through something like that knowing so many are against it. Remember, its better to have this in law first over an executive order which can easily be overturned by executive order and this isn't some switch you just let happen. Nor do I see this as how it affects solely minorities.

:camby:At Obama always talking about the economy but ignoring how blacks work for lower wages, are last hired/first fired, and our unemployment rate is double/triple that whites.
blacks are 12/13% of the population...and them being overall more poor does not answer what obama could do about that.
:camby:At not acknowledging obviously disproportionate hiring behavior. A black man with no criminal record has the same chance of hire as a white felon.
discrimination in hiring is illegal so I don't see how thats an obama thing

:camby:At ignoring Troy Davis and similar people up until their death. Also for waiting until our young brothers like Oscar Grant, Trayvon Martin are dead to speak up and then just forget about it days later.
he can't linger over every fukking thing...and troy davis was guilty IMO. He was already in jail for murking like 2 other people.....however I don't support the death penalty so theres that.

:camby:For this weak "My Brothers Keeper" initiative. These funds will be used poorly and will make a minimal impact at best if even that. As a so-called black man Obama has the opportunity to address SPECIFIC problems exclusive to our community and create a SPECIFIC plan to solve them.
such as...
No money involved
then how? Law?
None of this "pull up your pants and turn off the TV" trash.
He's right though. Culture matters.
These kids are not starting off on the right foot and their parents are not doing any better. Instead of telling all blacks to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and stop blaming the white man, why doesn't he call out the people who are truly detrimental to our community instead?
there are more white people and thus more examples of white success...I see this as an economic issue, not a race one.

Obama keeps dodging the senseless violence among blacks that is going on in his city of Chicago and similar areas like Newark NJ. He has no problem acting visibly sad for the Sandy Hook or Aurora Colorado tragedies though. People say he shouldn't talk about these black-specific issues because "we don't want anyone airing out their dirty laundry". Our dirty laundry has been sitting out on the driveway - everyone sees it and smells the stink just passing by. Why don't we clean it up instead of acting like it isn't there.
he talks about chicago all the time...but hes not the mayor of chicago...hes the president of an entire nation and the functional free world.

:camby:At his Trayvon Martin speech. Basically he said he understands how hard the black man has it out here but he is not going to do anything about it because he is a scared black man.
AS OPPOSED TO WHAT????? Thats more than ANYONE said...and he can't just override the court. what'd you expect to happen? MORE laws? I don't even see how this response makes sense to you.

dude came out and acknowledged how he felt about a private issue. you'd get pissed if he didn't say anything in the first place.
None of these solutions matter because Obama is way too far into his terms to actually push any of this through. Not that he had the backbone to do it anyway. Hopefully blacks will stop voting completely after 2016 and send a message to the politicians since its going to be open season on blacks, and we will no longer have our fake-messiah to make us feel comfortable.
damn...so its all obama's fault now :snoop:

Barack Obama Steps to the Podium....

"Uhhh, America, America...uhhh, I need you to keep in mind when I say this...that uhhhh Black people need more help than everyone else in America...It's true....just look at Worldstar......clearly, there is uhhhhhh, an uhhhh, disconnect, between the black community and uhhhh....everyone else...So what I propose is....hey listen, Republicans may think this is controversial....But umh...I'm a fair man...and ummmmh, I think that every black person should go to college for free.....Now don't get me wrong, I know there are poor Hispanics, Whites and Asians as well...but Uhhh. As a Black person, I'm obligated to serve Black people first and foremost"

LMAO

All aboard the :c00ntrain:
