Prosecution fukked up with the initial probation deal, cant in good conscience give time if the state is at first offering none. No reason to drag this case out for years, give deals with time to be served to flunkies, then to turn around and offer the ringleader probation, take it back and then ask for 45 years. They forced the Judge's hand with that.
