I'm just old enough to remember that time well. I was too young to understand what happened to the company though. I don't understand the criticism.

then magnum loses,..then later on the horsemen put magnum out to pasture for good angle.
with multiple spiked piledrivers and the chair leg crushers from the second rope.
nuffin could fukk with nwa,....magnum was hogan in nwa.
then never got the big belt,..
plus the horsemen beat magnum's ass, constantly.......

First of all there were some prominent stars like Junkyard Dog, Butch Reed and Dusty.
Second.. the characters and storylines were real ****. Feuds where mutha****as had their limbs broken, arms snapped.. blood pouring out of their head because the title meant something.
They didn't have their top draw throwing PPV results in the bushes and making Star Wars quips.

It was breh. Vinny does a good job at making NWA/WCW look as if it were always the inferior product which it was not
WWE was good at the larger than life aspect of presenting wrestling but NWA had a realism to it that is to be appreciated.
