fantastic 4 were more interesting than the avengers growing up

The F4 don't really have fans, and least not modern fans...but simply because they're relics. They're from an era where comics were fun, but for some reason, didn't translate. I like more of their 80s stuff, and some mid-late 90s stuff, some mid-200s stuff. I liked some of Hickman's run with the Future Foundation, but it got stale quickly.

Probably, McDuffie's run with BP & Storm was perhaps the most refreshing run of the last 20 years...But F4 is always best when they're weird, fun, exploratory stories, which is where McDuffie took them.

Silver Surfer is such a great character and excellent story. Him and Nightcrawler are super noble characters but then you got Namor always trying to bang Sue Storm...lol
