What MBP do you have? Was it you that said you wanted to take out the optical drive and put in the SSD in there? That thing is going to fly.

I need to take apart this cheap X401A and put in an SSD and upgrade the RAM then throw Windows 8 in there I guess.

i have the late 2011. yea that was me. im hoping to beast on battery life and speed

fyi i just looked it up and the imac hd is the same shyt as everything else...not soldered. you just have to do a little more disassembly

Probably just burnt out. shyt I aim to spend this entire week cleaning up my Windows HDD and my OS X HDD and just strictly using Linux.
