Yup, moving into a condo in downtown Toronto on Oct 15th, right beside the Rogers Center. You best believe I'll be renting it out everytime there is a big event weekend like UFC and all that shyt.

Will be doing it through Airbnb as I've rented from folks through there.

Having a high security deposit also helps you weed out the trash people.

Can't wait to :eat:

There was a housing service specifically for the college that I am visiting (people from the community advertised housing). If you can, you should try to get set on the Detriot/Ann Arbor university listservs for visiting scholars/graduate students (search around online and see if you can find any of those lists servs). Graduate students are low key and easy money because we have stipends.

:ohhh: I would so do this but its against my HOA rules.

From what I see I can average around 150-199/regular night. When there are busy events, which there always is downtown... I can double that shyt up easy :ohlawd:

Make sure to read prior reviews on the profile page of the people you are renting to.

i went through the website posted my shyt then we talked on facebook

i showed em some pictures of the crib and the area(midtown)

they agreed to get it for the month

i gotta call em this week but you pay through the website they authorize the transactions

and they get a lil cut

If you want to go into it as a legitimate business I know a lot about it because that's what my uncle does.

He bought houses in London before the economic crash and now let's them as 'guest rooms' on that website. Each house has 4 rooms or so.

The amount he makes on there from those rooms is fukking disgusting.

Its a good hustle. Many people in the holiday letting business became millionaires of it.

My uncle always told me property is the quickest way to make a million. I'm beginning to believe him. So many areas of exploit.

this just got my interest. If I can go in with 4-6 other individuals, then :ohlawd::ohlawd::ohlawd:. But black people mayne :to::to:

Another very lucrative business is housing medical students doing short rotations. My bf's Miami landlord is technically breaking the rules by renting out the place; however, when anyone asks, he just says that he's visiting "landlord's name" for a few weeks. The man has been doing it for years and no one reports him because the people are just "visiting."
