The problem that Vick fans are not understanding is that the teams Vick could go to next year, if Philly releases him, have some of the EXACT same problems that Philly has now.

In Oakland, Vick still has a suspect O-Line but a decent receiving core. But with McFadden slumping, defenses shut down the run and dare Palmer to beat them. This would be Philly all over again. Same with Buffalo.

In Arizona, that's another suspect O-Line. Solid receivers, but again, no running game.

In Jacksonville, he would have NO receivers. None. And who knows if MJD is there next year.

Now Tennessee COULD work... but as long as CJ is not doing his thing, he's gonna have similar problems.

And that's the thing about Vick. He can succeed and do well in this league... but there is hardly ANY situation that will fit him. The situations he could thrive in already have the QBs that they want in them. It's a rock and a hard place situation.

great breakdown
- honestly philly would be the perfect place if their o line wasnt trash. I mean they do have a top 5 RB and decent recievers; if vick had sean peyton as his coach he'd be :lawd: status

I hope y’all realize that if Vick plays well for the rest of the season, he’s most likely going to come back.

If HE’S not the sole reason why they blow the season, there’s no reason NOT to bring him back. I mean, you’re NOT going to get a high enough draft pick to get an impact QB, and there damn sure ain’t gonna be too many better options on the market, brehs.

I understand that. But the whole time Vick has been there, has Philly tried to shore up his O-Line? At all? Because until that happens, he's not going to improve. The fumbles happens b/c he tries to do way too much and he can't stand in the pocket like he should.

depending on a run dependant qb to throw the ball 30 plus times a game is a recipe for disaster. Imagine him in a redskins uni :wow5:

Yeah the play calling has been mind boggling over there this season. I always said if Andy Reid had to choose between winning a game and having a 400 yard passing day, he would choose the latter.

They’ve tried. But this is a FINESSE offense, the line is geared towards that type of offense. Vick is NOT a finesse offense QB. That’s the problem.

It’s typical Andy Reid. He’s stubborn enough not to concede when he’s wrong until it blows up in his face (see the Juan fiasco).

why is it guaranteed that he gets a starting job somewhere?
The trend right now is for teams to start young guys, or rookies

He'd make a great back up though

Andy Reid is coach though, with his history of being outcoached, inability to adjust and flat out choke jobs with super bowl teams, Vick can't get all the blame even though Reid bytch ass is trying to put that on his QB

:jawalrus: the Jets or 49ers will happily give him another 100 mil contract

:laff:

Why does everyone keep saying the Jets would go after him? If it's not gonna be Fez (and it will. He has 8 million reasons to stick around) then it will sadly be Tebow. Vick doesn't fit the equation.
