If you have a story you'd like to turn into a graphic novel and have the bread to get it done what do you think a reasonable cost per page is to have a story translated into storyboard?
Also what preparation should already be done for someone serious about having an illustrator draw their vision meaning should I already have each panel drawn out in stick figure prior and if not will this add to the cost, etc. .

In terms of preparing a story, write out the synopsis for the piece. Then do bios for the characters, be as detailed as possible, you're creating life here. Then once you feel comfortable with both of those write an outline. Below is from writer cullen bunn but i can show you mine if it will help.

If you don't script the artist won't understand your vision. So scripting is necessary and important.
