so let me get this str8.

some of yall went and copped a crib just so that yall can attract women? is that what yall are trying to me?
I seriously doubt that anyone on here went to cop a crib just to attract women..they copped a crip for themselves to be independent...c'mon I thought we were smarter than that man..they are saying its just a perk of not living with your parents at 30+..its called freedom

It is revealing of the age and level of life experience of those who are in here shouting about how moving out and being "independent" is the rite of passage to adulthood.
You all have soo much to learn. And so many mental chains to break.
All I can do is shake my head and back outa here. My two previous posts, plus the posts of a few others, are more than enough to "turn the light bulb on". If not, :manny:.. ...

man listen. if you working and u can afford a crib. why not? i could see if you got fired or were unemployed. thats different. but if you working and you got a car. it's no excuse. and if you got debt to pay off. it shouldnt take 11 years. im counting 21 to 32.

Freedom? You got responsibility, that's not freedom. More times than not you're spending more time at work or in the streets than at your home. It's basically wasteful spending.

And some people have freedom from teens. they have boyfriends/girlfriends sleeping over at 13 and shyt. If the house ain't crowded and ya folks ain't bytching. It's no need to move out.

i mean struggle as in a figure of speech. meaning some people are afraid of adversity. not meaning struggle as in homeless living in a cardboard box. when is someone mentally or financially ready to have kids??. now im not saying go and have them at 20 years old. but at some point its time to grow up. everything in life isnt the fresh prince or cosbys. every thing isnt peaches and cream man. thats what im trying to stay.

i see what you were trying to say but still, why bring on unneccessary strife just because?

and just because youre not struggling, it doesnt mean that everything is peaches & cream.

I'd rather be homeless honestly, im 20 now, If im not out by 24 - 25 im cutting my hair and joining the military or some shyt

Or starting a life of crime or something, some kind of bold movie type shyt. my pops never moved out either lol

man, the way youre talking, the chances are youre going to be doing the same thing youre doing now when youre 24-25.

and thats not neccessarily a bad thing.

the thing is, you can get fired and become unemployed at any moment. let that man stack his paper.

and did it ever occur to you that maybe he doesnt want to live in an apartment building?

nikka said he got $40g's in the bank. He seems more than capable of taking care of himself. You acting like the nikka said he on welfare, asking his mom for cigarette money.

Didnt I just say its your opinion this has nothing to do what the op said... I was responding to something totally different before you decided to post to my comment...you do know putting your money in a property can yield more than a bank with it being a buyers market over the past couple of years right...? I purchased a property a couple years back in a April and by late fall the prices had jumped over 40k a bank can't do that.. A depreciating asset such as a car can't...you can rent your property out collect monthly payments and sell when you need to a real profit.

I am not on here to tell anyone how to do anything you are acting like its bad for a "man" to have his own spot.. Do you and stay in a house until 40 or 50 or whatever age you want it has nothing to do with me.. I don't care about what the next man chooses to do or how they spend their moneymoney

You don't care yet you're in the thread chastising people who do. And LOL@property not depreciating. You're delusional. Also appraisal value don't mean shyt if nobody wants it for what you selling it for.

TBH if I would have been able to get along with my mom more...I would not have moved out at 19.

I would have probably had almost 80K stacked before the age of 25 with options all over.

39K saved and never having to pay rent at age 32 is kinda low though, but at least you are debt free.
