I was about to leave a long response but you're right, bout to dust off this resume. This unemployment is barely helping me out. Def gotta get a part time gig atleast set up now so when I go back to school I can smooth it over better with manager to accommodate with my schedule

This happened to me too. My folks threatened to call the cops on me and just generally hated me living at home (even though I was trying to move out and handle my business)...but would let my older sister live at home, eat food and get fat all day, and not have a job in years.

I've actually thought of looking for work out of state but I'm a little scared of change. I have to grow out of that. Me and my parents have a really good relationship so things aren't tense at all between us. I admit i have seen a change lately where I think they want me outta here just from the way they speak and the body language they've been giving off lately. I don't think it's just in my head

Company I worked for lost their Medicare license so they were forced to shut down and laid everyone off so I'm collecting unemployment and plan to finish college (I only have two classes left) in the winter but besides that I'm about to start a website and if the website looks to not be promising as far as supporting me financially then ima just have to suit up and start from scratch again working in another office

Once you start your own sh!t it will be hard to go back to that cubicle.

If your website fails, start another venture or network your way into another startup.

America is no longer a place that rewards cubicle jockeys.

Most people live with their parents for a long period of time to save money for a house. If you dont haev much money in your pocket and are essentially freeloading off your parents i dunno friend. You may want to make some alterations in your life.

You considering yourself a loser is really a reflection on how you think others perceive you. Whether that be family members, friends, women, co-workers, etc

Now ask yourself 1 very important question...

Are ANY of these individuals doing anything to help your situation?


Instead of looking at what you don't have, look at what you do.....two parents willing to love you enough to keep a roof over your head for as long as you need it, a lot of people can't say that
Appreciate them more than ever, stay focused on your goals, and don't let fear determine your next move.
