This album is still immaculate more than a decade later. Introspective lyrics still hold up. Production sounds timeless. Concepts, lyrics, rapping, everything still holds up. On the low it was one of the best albums in '96, which is already a dope year, and it made me really respect Black Thought for the first time. Been rocking with The Roots ever since :obama:

Do You Want More, Rising Down, How I Got Over, and Things Fall Apart have the more memorable singles, but I think this is the most cohesive project. Can't go wrong with any of them tho

For sure. I didn't like Organix at all. I thought Do You Want more was heat. This was just :ohlawd:. Classic then. Classic now

Still prefer do you want more.

Illadelph is a good album, tho. Very dark.

Really? :leon:

If I had to rank em it would go Ill > Things > How I got Over(this is where everything is pretty much equal in terms of quality) > Undun > DYWM > Rising Down > Game Theory > TP > Phrenology > Organix

Their catalog is insane. After Illadelph it's hard to rank everything:whew:

Definitely one of their best . They always put out quality material but this one is overall seamless in a lot of ways . Particularly love this track :

'I'm crooked like the 'I' on toxic malt liquor . The land whipper. The Dom Perignon champ sipper'
