That Pearlman book is pretty solid. It would make a great basis for a story going from the sale to Buss all the way up to Jordan's Bulls and Magic's HIV diagnosis ending the Showtime Lakers era.
Dr. Buss was an interesting dude; you look at the state of the franchise (even though it had legacy with multiple titles) with Jack Kent Cooke as owner, and then you see where Dr. Buss took it, and it's a remarkable story.

Harrison Barnes is playing significant minutes ... this might be a first real sign that Pop is loosing it
The team looks poorly constructed, big men are garbage and Mitchell and Smart running the offense doesn't work. Looked much better in the couple of minute with White out there.
