1st questionable move they've made this offseason, imo. but, I think they still have one roster spot open after this so. I'm thinking they'll leave it open until the buyout market starts during the season. I'd have Kawhi texting Marc Gasol

Pretty sure they just signed him because he's friends with Paul George. He was already on the decline during his last year in Toronto and is a total non-contributor now

More money internationally than taking a minimum contract at $1.2-1.8 mil pre-tax. Chinese season ends in late March, so he could always come back and sign somewhere like Beasley and Wilson Chandler did.
