He's under no obligation to act on a team's schedule. This is his decision. Weird seeing people try to paint him as a villain or doing something bad when it just doesn't stick. He's doing what's best for him and his family.
They are following him like OJ
nah, all of that outside shyt (marketing, investments, etc) as well as power/willingness to bend over is what gets brought up/considered before all the basketball shyt, it's part of what narrows things down before the FA periodIt's been all of three days and you're simplifying shyt way too much. Money wise alone all these teams can offer a ton of different options outside of basketball that he may not have known about before taking the meetings. Investment opportunities, marketing potential, promotional dollars, all kinds of shyt outside of just basketball income. They may have clauses they want negotiated in such as trade kickers, no-trade clauses. They may want to hear just how power these clubs are willing to grant them such as players wanting to have their immediate circle hired on with the club in executive positions. Little things such as being allowed to have their own trainers. Then you add in the three clubs offers and having to weigh them against each other.
Then even with the basketball part, why is this man not allowed to be genuinely torn on what he wants to do. He may have really grown a bond with the team last year while recognizing that basketball wise his best chance is with the Lakers.
Fans are the fukking divas expecting people to rush a life decision that will define the next 3-5 years of a player's lives all because we want answers now. Y'all bugging calling this man a diva for not rushing. If the Lakers are going to sign him all they'll be able to do his offer minimum contracts for the most part so they can negotiate with guys with the caveat of if we sign Kawhi we'll give you the minimum but if we don't we'll add some more millions on top of it. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes.
All I gotta say is fukk the mainstream media. shyt is trash. Everyone has a narrative and agenda. It's sickening. Nobody cares about reporting facts. They just wanna be the 1st ones to break the news, regardless of if it's true or not. We have 24/7 gossip and chatty patty shyt. Gotta do better. Journalism used to matter in this country.
Dahell
When did journalism matter
the coli never forgives the mediaThat lake is drying up by the hour....pun intended..... double entendre
If all that's decided before then what's the point of these big meetings and big free agency pitches? How do you know they enjoy this and aren't instead agonizing behind closed doors truly torn on what to do?nah, all of that outside shyt (marketing, investments, etc) as well as power/willingness to bend over is what gets brought up/considered before all the basketball shyt, it's part of what narrows things down before the FA period
as for fans being divas, like i said, he's free to do him, but i'm not gonna act like him and/or his camp don't enjoy this shyt.
you bring drama two years in a row, that's what you get ....like others said, let this be lebron, or curry or any other "polarizing" player and the wouldn't be as tight around the necks of some of yall.If all that's decided before then what's the point of these big meetings and big free agency pitches? How do you know they enjoy this and aren't instead agonizing behind closed doors truly torn on what to do?
We don't know a damn thing just killing him and assigning shyt to them that we have no idea if it's true or not.
Took the words right off my keyboard
Anyone else sick of all these fraud sources
A source close to the situation told me
Sources that
I reached out to my source and
Year of the source
What if Kawhi was trying to wait until the 4th to announce.
