LeBron had Kyrie (who hit the gamd winning shot in Game 7) in 2016.

Kawhi had no other superstars beside him.

Kawhi beat Steph, Draymond, and Klay without a Kyrie. That's more impressive than beating the Warriors minus KD in 2016 with Kyrie by his side.

Kyrie ain’t no superstar:mjlol: man shut up you a idiot

Klay was hurt and Durant was out, stop it.

Siakam and Lowry were balling,Lowry and Kyrie on the same level. ALLSTARS

Shut up dumb dumb :russ:

Kyrie averaged 28 PPG in the 2016 Finals. He scored 40 points in Game 5 then hit the game winning shot in Game 7. He was a SUPERSTAR that series. He outplayed Steph Curry who was the unanimous MVP.

Also Klay only got hurt in the 3rd quarter of Game 6 and missed Game 3. He played 4.5 of the 6 games in this series.

Stop trying to rewrite history because your man LeBron has been exposed by Kawhi.

No, KCP wasn't one of the guards on my list. I assumed he'd eat up the money they'd need to sign several of the other names there.
If KCP was going to break any teams bank he would have already been signed.... That money has largely dried up and he should be available for a VERY comfortable price... they have 32 million without Kawhi plus the MMLE possibly the full MLE I doubt he eats up anything of significance

When a player goes from 35 to 36 is a very dangerous time. Look at the 2007 Spurs, the 2008 Spurs, and the 2009 Spurs to see.
What in the world does this have to do with Andre Iguodala broski?

Lol this is some irrelevant ass shyt that has no impact on him or the Lakers... You're out here throwing out prognostications on declines based on age and anecdotal references (like I can't also do that) instead of what's actaully happening with them on the court... it's silly bruh bruh im sorry.... Unless you are showing me actual tape of a player not being able to perform I don't really care about your "expert" pre-diagnosing (no disrespect)

You can't be serious about not thinking LeBron will need major minutes management (talk of that for LeBron started YEARS ago and his coaches are the main talkers). And I don't know why you keep bringing up CP3.
No nikka YOU can't be serious insinuating some shyt about a dude in the prime of his career with no chronic issues like AD needing all of this "load management".... It sounds like something you got from ESPN tbh

And with Lebron Im glad you brought up the word "talk" because the FACTS are that with all of that so called talk he never did premeditated resting at all...like I said if it washsuch a concern to him why didn't they start him off on a plan thir year like they did with Kawhi?? Simple question dog...

And CP3 is brought up because you refuse to hold any of the teams who will be competing with the Lakers in the west to the same over the top level of concern with regard to key players age and depth

Because A. Neither one is playing 82 games and B. If you want to maximize the chemistry for playoff effectiveness then no, you wouldn't stagger so strongly. Fully stagger LeBron and AD and they'll end up playing less than half the game together.
A.Playing all 82 games isn't in any way a necessity for either of these two as it concerns the Lakers making the playoffs...just like it isn't for the majority of stars on other teams... Mitchell missed about 5-6 games for the Jazz last year and they did quite alright even tho he was their only 20 point scorer... Unlike the Jazz.... *if... one guy goes down they'll have another all nba caliber player there to right the ship...with that said... I think they'll be fine

B.This again is just silly imo... if you think AD and LeBron minutes will not get staggered and they'll spend a bunch of time on the bench together... good for you fam...God bless..not even worth arguing over tbh

:hubie:

Morris should be in the starting lineup.

On Rondo I was referring mostly to his durability and defense.
A.On that depth chart I posted I put Morris as the starter

B.Like I said im not worried about Rondo and his role

No, last year's team had damn near everyone missing 25-35 games and major holes and multiple positions even before they went out, THAT was the issue I was speaking of.
And like I said if you look at last year's team and are comparing it to the composition of this years potential team and predicting that they will suffer the same fate...thers's not much to discuss here... We simply see this game thru different lenses
