KCP averaged 11 a game with a 57% TS yet you don't want him playing more than 10 minutes a game?
No, KCP wasn't one of the guards on my list. I assumed he'd eat up the money they'd need to sign several of the other names there.
Iggy looked very capable to me in the playoffs...if he didn't to you perhaps we were watching different leagues
When a player goes from 35 to 36 is a very dangerous time. Look at the 2007 Spurs, the 2008 Spurs, and the 2009 Spurs to see.
This is your problem...you're starting off with fake news... Where is this "load management" shyt even coming from?... Lebron has never been on a load management plan and AD just came off back to back seasons where he played 75 games before last year where his own team sabotaged his GP... So yeah sure if you cook in this made up narrative about "load management" you can create this doom and gloom scenario... But why aren't you talking about load management for the supposed other contending teams players like Chris Paul?
You can't be serious about not thinking LeBron will need major minutes management (talk of that for LeBron started YEARS ago and his coaches are the main talkers). And I don't know why you keep bringing up CP3.
Why would AD and LeBron spend extended minutes on the bench together? You'd obviously stagger their minutes my guy...this is like common sense basketball logic correct?
Because A. Neither one is playing 82 games and B. If you want to maximize the chemistry for playoff effectiveness then no, you wouldn't stagger so strongly. Fully stagger LeBron and AD and they'll end up playing less than half the game together.
Marcus Morris put up 14 a game last playoffs on 52% shooting and 45% from 3 how much more offense do you need from a 4th option?
Morris should be in the starting lineup.
CAlso imo you're putting too much emphasis on Rondo...with heavy usage guys like AD and ball handlers like LeBron and even Kuzma to a lesser degree his role will simply be to set those guys up and make smart reads... I don't doubt his ability to continue to do that...I just watched him do that last season... If you want to predict him forgetting how to do those things magically...
On Rondo I was referring mostly to his durability and defense.
Last year's team didn't have two all star caliber players on it... If you look at a team with Lebron James and Anthony Davis on it and somehow see Lonzo Ball / Brandon Ingram /Josh Hart... Hey I can't help you with that one... We'll just have to agree to disagree
No, last year's team had damn near everyone missing 25-35 games and major holes and multiple positions even before they went out, THAT was the issue I was speaking of.
