Leaving a team where you just won a championship and Finals MVP to help Lebron win cheap rings is as weak as it gets. The media and Lebron fanboys will act like it's not though.

I am truly amazed at the way that people gloss over him blowing a 3-1 lead, playing like shyt in the process, and then him going to the squad that he blew the lead to, that had been recruiting him all year, and attempt to compare it other, non-comparable things. There is nothing in the history of the league that can be compared to that or top that so let's just leave it alone.

1) Kawhi already beat Lebron
2) Kawhi already won a ring being the man winning the 1st championship for both a franchise and country
while also owning a ring playing the team game with the Spurs
3) Kawhi doesn't really have anything else to prove other than winning more rings as the man.
He can do that on the Lakers when Lebron declines completely and him and AD are the top scorers.
If Kawhi's were on that OKC team instead of KD, Kawhi would probably want to come back and beat the Warriors
the next year if he saw how close they were to beating them the year before after being up 3-1.

I have nothing against Lebron I’m just saying if Kawhi wants to be a GOAT why would you help out your rival? This is like Messi helping Ronaldo you’d never see that because they are competitors.
You know damn well size matters more than anything in basketball. The bigger and taller you are (mixed with athleticism) the more unstoppable you are. It’s exactly why Giannis is so good even though skill wise you can clearly see he hasn’t reached his peak.
If there was a draft with KD, Klay, Lebron, AD, Steph & Kawhi the bottom 2 would be Steph & Klay 99% of the time.

If he's coming off a chip and the other two guys are coming off missing the playoffs, wouldn't they be the ones helping him get a ring? It's impossible for a person that just won a chip and Finals MVP to be operating from a position of weakness.
